2-Day Night Tour “Gates of Hell”
Description
An excursion to Darvaza (also known as the “Gates of Hell”) — a giant burning gas crater the size of a football field that has been ablaze since 1971. You’ll see it at night — the most spectacular time — enjoy dinner by the fire, and explore the Karakum Desert, the hottest desert in Central Asia.
In the northern Karakum, you will also visit ancient Kunya-Urgench, the former capital of the Khorezm Kingdom with over 2000 years of history.
The “Gates of Hell Night Tour” includes an overnight stay in a tent near the fiery crater.
